Glen Goei was born in 1962. He graduated from Cambridge University and is one of Singapore's leading film and theater directors. His work spans the full range of performing and visual arts and includes film, theatre, musicals, large-scale shows, world's fairs, dance, music and architectural design. His feature films, Forever Fever (1998), The Blue Mansion (2009) and Revenge of The Pontianak (2019), received critical acclaim.
Glen Goei has also made a significant contribution to Singapore's theater scene, primarily as co-artistic director of renowned Singaporean company Wild Rice since 2002.
