Time seems to have stopped on this island which used to be prosperous and had 700 families. A part of the island has been covered by the sea, and almost everyone left to live on the continent. Only a few aged persons have decided to stay back. The inhabitants of this island use wood instead of gas, and candles instead of electricity. Those living there do not have the comfort of a modern life. They could leave this island at any moment… but they love their land. Their whole youth, their memories are linked to this land.
