A third-rate actress is greatly upset when she realizes no one came to her performance; she leaves the theatre deeply offended. While she wanders about the streets she gets a phone call from a friend telling her he had a strange dream about her and advising her to keep safe. The actress does not take this warning into account and walks towards a park where she hopes to find peace. There, she meets a detective by chance, who investigates about a young man’s suicide. To her big surprise she realizes this looks like the dream she had on the previous night. While they discuss she realizes their lives are tightly and strangely bound. “We often think about people we met and things we saw in our dreams. By following a small actress’ life for one day “A Matter of Interpretation” wants to show how dreams and real facts can be interlinked”. Lee Kwang-kuk
