La Jetée is a character in its own right. There are movie posters all around the walls and bottles emptied by famous guests are exposed like precious relics. More the guests talk about the missing person, better we might imagine her. One might guess her great sense of hospitality and warmth. La Jetée seems like a safe haven in the heart of chaotic Tokyo.
