Today they are twenty-five; they finished their studies and start working. When they were children, all of them had to survive by digging in Phnom-Penh open air dump, in Cambodia. This is where travelling French couple Christian and Marie-France met them more than twenty years ago. They decided to fight with limitless efforts to help these children to get away from such hell. Today, they helped about 10 000 children to get education in order to build a future. “I wanted to show how the resilience process is possible for these children, when they meet people believing in them and ready to help them. We have no choice but to acknowledge how they somehow keep strong, joyful, and with an amazing ability to live! Through this story I also show the long term consequences of the genocide made by the Khmer Rouge.
