Liu Yulin was born in Beijing. She graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. In 2014, his first short film Door God was selected in more than fifty festivals. His first feature Someone to Talk To was selected for several major festivals. In Our Prime is his second feature film. She then shoots a romantic comedy, Just for Meeting you, which will be on Chinese screens in 2023.
