Anca Damian studies cinematography at the Academy of Theater and Cinema in Bucharest. She also holds a doctorate in Cinema and Media. She serves as director of photography on two feature films and several documentaries. In 2008, she directed her first feature film Crossed Encounters. The Journey of Mr. Crulic, in 2011, her second feature film is an animated documentary selected in numerous international festivals. In 2013, she shot her third film, A Very Troubled Summer. The Magic Mountain, animated documentary, is her fourth feature film.
