The Mumbai authorities plan to cut down thousands of trees in order to extend a public transport system. The Warli tribe, 10,000 men strong, is preparing to fight to protect the forest and the leopard that the tribe worships. The Bhoir family discovers that they are in the vanguard of a battle whose goal is to save the green lung of India's financial capital, the last natural forest in a megacity.
They work hand in hand with the defenders of flora and fauna to prevent damage to the green belt surrounding the forest such as sudden flooding, forest fires and leopard attacks, which means they are the guardians of the forest and the climate warriors of the city. This universal story concerns all the cities that are trying to find a balance between the immediate needs of their population, short-term political gains and deeply entrenched corruption. This film is a chronicle of the power of perseverance and of peaceful protesting, intended for a global audience.
