Josabeth “Joji” Alonso studied at the State University of the Philippines. After six years of law practice, she ventured into movie production and founded Quantum films. She has since produced over 30 features, both commercial and arthouse titles. She directed a short feature, Last Order, and a long fiction feature, Belle Douleur, which has been awarded at Manila's Cinemalaya Film Festival.
