With kind support of French embassy in Manila
A groom takes his bride to his native town where they will live with his father. The patriarch, astounded by his daughter-in-law’s disconcerting resemblance with his deceased wife, lusts after her. When the situation becomes critical, a violent family quarrel breaks out and ends in a tragedy.
A middle aged old maid recalls the story to keep track of the fall of the land-owner prisoner of his past, and finally reveals her own identity.
