A big city, presently… Noise, aactivity, traffic jams, mised meetings (or not), family, everything everyone has to do...A day (aalmost) like any other. If not..."We repeat the principal news of the day. Prime Minsiter Ithzac RAbin has died tonight in Tel Aviv affter receiving three bullets in his head" (November 4th 1995).
Amos Gitaï leaves for Israel three weeks after the event took place. Investigation, documentary, reconstitution? Remembrances of war and peace. Every place (Gaza, Golan, Haifa, Carnei Hittim), all people (Lea Rabin, Aviv Geffen, a young and popular singer, Efratia Gitaï, the director's mother …) witness in their very own way to grant a parcel of truth and of emotion. Between suffering and hope, the memory... up until the picture, on a TV screen, in the editing room, in a certain garage in Tel Aviv. The filmmaker catches the surprise of the Israeli people right after the murder.
