Alexandra de Mersan is an anthropologist, lecturer in the Southeast Asia Pacific department of Inalco and a specialist in Burma. She uses all types of audiovisual productions (fiction, short films, documentaries and ethnographic films) as essential supports for her courses. In general, she is interested in the image in all its forms, as a tool for knowledge and expression of values, questions and representations of contemporary societies.
