Martin Prakkatt started his career as a celebrity photographer and worked with Vanitha Magazine for ten years. In 2010, he directed his first Best Actor film which was a commercial success and had positive reviews. In 2013 he directed his second film American-born Confused Desi then in 2015 Charlie which won several awards at the Kerala State Film Awards including that of best director. The Hunt is his fourth feature film.
