In Iran, at the present time, Mina’s life has been in upheaval since her husband was condemned to death. She finds herself on her own, with their daughter to raise. A year later, she is summoned by the authorities, who inform her that her husband was innocent. While Mina is initiating judicial procedures to clear his name, a mysterious man knocks on her door, saying that he is a friend of the deceased.

“In our film, the story begins after the execution : the film thus calls into question the death penalty, the law and its consequences on society. It tells the story of these victims of injustice, those whose lives have been turned upside down by the death of an innocent person ... Mina lives in a society which is very violent towards women. They have to deal with highly misogynous laws, and the extreme injustice which Mina is victim of, exists, fortunately in only a minority of countries today.
