Maryam Moghaddam was born in Tehran. A graduate of the School of Dramatic Arts in Gothenburg (Sweden), she is an actress, screenwriter and director. She has appeared several times in Sweden and in many Iranian films. Together they wrote the screenplay for Risk of Acid Rain (2015) and co-directed the documentary The Invincible Diplomacy of Mr Naderi (2018).
