Sylvia Chang

Sylvia Chang was born in 1963 in Chiayi. She began as an actress with Lo Lieh in 1975. She then became a director in 1981 of feminist films as Passion in 1986 and Mary From Beijing in 1992. The success of Tempting Heart in 1999 was installed in the world of cinema. She is president of the jury at the Busan festival, Hong Kong and member of the jury in Venice. She is also a screenwriter and singer.
