Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige were born in 1969 in Beirut. They work together as visual artists and filmmakers. They have made short films, documentaries and fiction films. Their films have been selected in numerous international festivals where they have received excellent reception. And their works of art have been exhibited in the most important museums, biennials and art centers around the world. In 2017, they received the prestigious Marcel Duchamp Prize.
