Defne Gürsoy is a free-lance, independant journalist, spezialised within Art and Culture and working as a correspondant for several Turkish magazines and newspapers (Cumhuriyet, NotosOyku, Nokta, Plato, Vatan…for whose she pulished several articles about VIFFAC in 2000 and 2003) and Radio France International. She is a co-writer of the book Istanbul : Birth of a Civial Society published at Autrement Editions in 2006.
