Iyad has grown up in an Arab city in Israel. At the age of sixteen he enters a prestigious Jewish boarding school in Jerusalem. He is the very first Arab, and the only one, to be admitted there. He gradually gets accepted by his comrades but has only one true friend: Yonathan, a boy affected by a hereditary disease. Iyad gets closer to Yonathan’s family and brings support to Edna, his friend’s mother who becomes more courageous. He is soon considered as the second son in the family…
