A man reaches a small town located in the Aragatz mountainsides. Nobody knows who he is, or where he comes from. He is alone. He lost his entire family and friends, his house and belongings during the 1915 genocide. The world of the living does not appeal to him. The only thing he clings to is the unending poignant memory of the 1915 tragic events when the Armenians died by dozens of thousands. The only persons able to understand him are those who survived the same tragedy. Noubar enters his life; she is also alone. Nahapet and Noubar do not yet belong to the present; they are bound by their past community. Little by little, Nahapet learns happiness again through essential values that are vital. It feels reborn within, while his country is greatly impressed with the possibility of meeting its most elementary needs.
