Mamo is a Kurdish famous old musician living in Iranian Kurdistan. For 35 years, since Saddam Hussein’s takeover, he has not been allowed to perform in Irakian Kurdistan. The ban is lifter when the regime falls. Kako, one among his faithful admirers, borrows a decrepit bus to conduct this sacred mission: to drive Mamo to his concert on the other side of the frontier, after gathering Mamo’s ten sons who are all adult musicians living scattered all over Iranian Kurdistan. From now on, no obstacle will stop Mamo.
