Doil is about to leave the army. Soon-young, a young woman he promised to marry, is waiting for him with her newborn baby. During a few days’ leave, he finds out he is not the biological father of the child. Soon after Soon-young disappears. Doil tries everything to find her, but is unable to discover where she hides. It seems now impossible to achieve what he had planned: settle down and find a steady job. He does not know either what to do with that baby. He wonders if his life in the army was not better for him, when he only had to follow orders. Will he be able to face what the future holds for him?
