In India, in an area of old Delhi, a man relentlessly carries on his daily fight against history, against his times; against human weakness, and also against God. His name is Guru Hanuman and he decided to dedicate his whole life to his country and to the children of his people. He founded a school where he teaches the street orphans how to fight according to the Kushti traditional wrestling. This wrestling is performed in a muddy ring and it also the fight of man facing his destiny.
The film is an encounter with this ninety-eight years old man who was born at the turn of the century and was nurtured by the urge of the liberation and independence of his country, a legendary figure among freedom fighters.
