Four main characters evolve in three episodes. They are a fair-haired man, a dark-haired man, an old man and Gazale, a young woman.
There are three different versions of the same story, with the same actors playing the same characters in various situations. The theme of love triangle depicted in the film is quite daring in a Muslim country like Iran.
The film shot in Istanbul in 1989 due to censorship, was selected for Cannes festival along with Hello Cinema. This light humorous film is nevertheless a critical modern depiction of the relationships between men and women extolling tolerance and freedom.
