The main character in the film is a building. This Tbilisi institution used to have many craftsmen shops during the Soviet area. One could get almost anything repaired: clothes, watch, TV, umbrella, shoes, radio… After Georgia’s independence, the centre went bankrupt. Today, the spacious and modern building of Pirimze Plaza is empty. Not far from there, craftsmen are still repairing household goods in dark bustling caves. We are told the humorous narration of gossips and stories, sometimes strange, about what happened to the building and the people linked to it. This unique fascinating place allows us to observe the changes that affected the Georgian society at post Soviet area.
