In Hong Kong streets, an invisible crack unit watches you… A secrete branch of Hong Kong police leads sophisticated tailings. Captain Huang hires Piggy, a beginner with an ingenuous face who is therefore beyond suspicion. Together they will try to tail the ‘brains’ of a break-in. But the ‘brains’ understands the danger and disappears. Piggy is assigned a new task. While she is tailing someone, she meets the ‘brains’ in her path.
“While tailing, we look at people from every angle, as though we were an eye observing the world from above in the sky. Technology today allows very sophisticated tailing. This concept of an eye watching people’s life from the sky also exists in the Chinese culture, but with a more literal meaning. The observing eye is a kind of divine intervention. It is the eye of the one who not only observes, but also has the power to punish bad people and reward good people. It would mean that what is called ‘miracle’ or ‘coincidence’ never happens by chance. The film shows that I decided to believe in it”. Yau Nai-hoi
These breathless tailings of all kinds are not devoid of a good sense of humor.
