Un Certain Regard - Cannes 1988
Two old friends, the film director Ali and the script writer Yavuz make a journey to find locations for a new film. Ali has communication problems, he feels himself a stranger to people and himself, however Yavuz is more realistic and is able to adapt himself to his milieu. Ali is very impressed by an abandoned historical village which constitutes the final location of their trip. This sentiment will lead him to the start point of an entirely different journey.
