Selection:
Alain Mazars was born in Paris in 1955. He studies mathematics and psychology. After studying Chinese he leaves for China, where he works in lieu for military service in 1978-79. He directs 3 medium-length films at Velasquez Casa in Madrid. He is a lecturer at FEMIS and a founder member of ACID. Since 1979 he has been directing feature-length films and documentaries, mainly in Asia.
