Hossein Shahabi was born in 1967 in Tabriz. He graduated from studying classical music at Tehran University. He directed 7 short movies and 10 TV movies. In 2013, she directed his debut feature, The Bright Day, awarded in many International Film Festivals. The Sale is his second long feature.
