Jean-Michel Corillion was born in 1964. After earning a law degree and spending four years in the music band Épitaphe, he graduated from CERIS (Centre d’étude et de recherche de l’image et du son) in 1988. Traveling the world, transitioned from cameraman to director. With an output of some 30 films, Jean-Michel Corillion has achieved a strong reputation as an ethnographic filmmaker. He is currently working on an original film project dedicated to forgotten people, before they disappear forever—and with them, The Origins of our humanity...
