Marie-Jaoul de Poncheville has traveled many times to Asia. She published two books about her experiences, her novel « Seven Women in Tibet » will be the starting point for a documentary about the Tibetan genocide. She has directed several documentaries about Tibetan people and Buddhism.
Molom: a Tale of Mongolia is her debut feature.
