Shukhrat Abbasov was born in 1931 in Kokand. Next to his medecine studies, he learnt about drama at the Ostrovski Dramatical Art Institute of Tachkent and obtained his graduation in stage managing in 1954. After that, he studied cinema in Moscow until 1968. From 1959, he became stage manager for Ouzbekfilm. He died in 2018.
